A new campaign's being launched to warn people about the dangers of swimming in open water in the UK. Two years ago, 17-year-old James Goodship went swimming in Foulridge Reservoir in Lancashire. It was a hot day - he wanted to cool down, but the cold water meant he went into cold water shock and drowned. His mother, Mel, was taking her dog for a walk with her husband, Pete, when she saw emergency services at the reservoir near their house. The emergency turned out to be for James, whose body was not recovered until the following morning. She said her world "fell apart", adding "there's no recovery" from losing her son.
