Six months after a tragic car crash in Stockholm took the lives of all four members of the band Viola Beach, their debut album has reached number one in the UK charts. Finn Reeves, brother of guitarist River, told 5 live Drive: “I think all the boys would be completely over the moon, and they would be much cooler about it than I’m being.” Viola Beach consisted of singer Kris Leonard, guitarist River, bassist Tomas Lowe and drummer Jack Dakin. The album was put together from the material that the band had recorded prior to the accident. “Very soon after the accident all the families got together and agreed we had to continue their legacy and get this album out there. The best way we feel to celebrate their lives is to listen to their music,” added Finn. This clip is originally from 5 live Drive on Friday 5 August 2016.
