The Ghana artist sprucing up his neighbourhood

Focus on Africa

Available for over a year

Ghanaian artist Moh Awudu is trying to re-tell the story of his community through arts - with the aim of changing perceptions about the slum area of Accra where he lives and works. Born and raised in Nima, he was recently listed as one of the Most Talented Artists in Africa by Imago Mundi - a worldwide publishing house. He believes in the transformative power of art, as the Â鶹Éç's Thomas Naadi reports from Accra. (Picture: Moh Awudu at work in Nima. Credit: Â鶹Éç)
