Is it wrong for athletes to switch countries?

Newsday

Available for over a year

Should athletes be allowed to switch countries for the chance to compete at the Olympics and for better financial incentives? In Rio 2016 there have been Kenyan born athletes who have won medals for Bahrain. This weekend the IAAF - the body that runs world athletics - will discuss whether the rules should be tightened. Gavin Smith is a running coach who's worked with Kenyan stars like Abel Kirui and Florence Kiplagat. Newsday's Paul Hawkins asked him whether it's bad form for athletes to switch allegiance?
