European countries began building offshore wind farms a generation ago. But as of right now, in the US, there are exactly zero wind farms. That’s about to change though. Recently, America’s first wind turbine was completed off the coast of Rhode Island. It’s part of a five-turbine project that could be finished by the end of the month.
