Newsday

Available for over a year

After a Muslim woman lying on a beach in France was confronted by armed police because she was wearing a burkini - the swimwear that covers the entire body - social media exploded with messages critical of the authorities. One man has decided to do something about it. Rachid Nekkaz - who runs the organisation Hands Off My Constitution - says he'll pay the penalty fines imposed on women who refuse to take off their burkinis.
