Available for over a year
This weekend sees the return of the Leicestershire County Show after a 7 year break. It's back, thanks in part to a mystery benefactor, some passionate fundraising and some serious hard work! Before that the show was a much loved annual event since it was started in 1833, only taking a break during the 2 wars and foot & mouth. They've moved too, from Melton onto a new site, situated near the Innovation Centre on the B6047 just outside Market Harborough. The chairman of the the County Show is James Webb. Jim Davis went to meet him and his wife Vanessa at their farm near Billesdon where they were busy preparing the trophies for this weekend.
