Saving Lives in Greek Waters

The Hellenic Rescue Team is a sea volunteer rescue group credited with saving thousands of lives during 2015. Over the course of the year, the volunteers undertook 1,035 rescue operations, saving 2,500 lives, and assisting more than 7,000 people to safety. In recognition for their work they are being given an award by the UN Refugee Agency. Konstantinos Mitragas, the team leader, has been speaking to Lawrence Pollard.
