John McDonnell has sort to reassure Labour MP's that the party is "not into mandatory-reselection." The Shadow Chancellor told Pienaar's Politics that some Labour MP's were feeling "insecure" because of the boundary review commission. The proposals are part of reforms which would see the House of Commons reduce from 650 MPs to 600. Some MPs who have disagreed with the party leadership, are concerned that local members may use the shakeup to try to deselect them if Jeremy Corbyn retains the leadership. This clip is originally from Pienaar's Politics on Sunday 11 September 2016.
