Oliver Lewtin was a highly influential minister during David Cameron's time in government, helping formulate Conservative policies and manifestos. Appearing on Âé¶¹Éç Radio 4's the World at One, he says that he felt that Mr Cameron should have stayed on as prime minister despite the referendum result. Speaking to Martha Kearney, he admitted that they had not expected the result of the 2015 general election either.
