The UK's former Ambassador to Russia Sir Tony Brenton says alienating Vladimir Putin will simply see him dig his heels in. Speaking to the Westminster Hour he criticised Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson's calls for protests outside the Russian embassy and said the only way to get Russia to work with the West over Syria is if there's an outcome that's "advantageous" to them.
