A new study by the World Food Programme and the University of California claims that Uganda's policy of giving land to refugees is benefiting the local economy. Uganda is currently host to about 800,000 refugees, mostly from the D.R Congo and South Sudan, and has previously been named the best place in the world to claim asylum. Prof. Edward Taylor, the lead researcher, speaks to the Â鶹Éç's Patience Atuhaire in Kampala. (Picture: The refugee settlement of Nakivale, Uganda. Credit: Â鶹Éç)
