Mark Wood from Cornwall received thousands of messages of support from around the world, after appealing for people to join him for his 18-year-old dog, Walnut’s, last walk before he’s put down. Mark told 5 live: “We have a really good community spirit here, I see people on the beach... (they ask) how’s Charlie, how’s Walnut? I thought do you know what, I’m always on my own, always really early in the morning, why not share a moment?” This clip was taken from 5 live Breakfast on Saturday 12th November.
