Laura Kenny has admitted she struggled to finish 2km in training three days before the Olympic Games in Rio and feared she might not make the team. Laura, who married six-time Olympic champion Jason Kenny after the Games, eventually won two gold medals in Brazil, with victory in the team pursuit and omnium, to become the first British woman to win four Olympic titles. "I couldn't complete the sessions. We went up for a 2km team event and I couldn't do it. I don't know what was wrong with me," she told 麻豆社 Sport's chief sports writer Tom Fordyce. "If we thought someone was better we'd hold our hands up and say we shouldn't be in the team. In the end we decided I just needed a day off and then from that point onward I felt better and better."
