UK police are refusing to disclose details of training courses for officers in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Qatar even though they admit there are concerns about human rights in those countries. In June, the Â鶹Éç secured documents under Freedom of Information showing that the College of Policing had trained Saudi officers despite fears the skills they learned could be misused to identify people who were later tortured. Now the police say it was a mistake to release those documents and it will not give out similar information about other courses in Gulf countries.
