Cheshire police have expanded an inquiry into historic allegations of sex abuse in professional football after a number of former players said they were young victims of football coaches. The former England and Manchester City star, David White, has become the fourth player to allege he was abused. He said he was a victim of Barry Bennell, a coach and talent scout, who was jailed for nine years in 1998 for child sex offences. Gordon Taylor, chief executive of the Professional Footballers' Association told Ritula Shah that he can't be sure this type of abuse is not happening today.
