Instagram wants to make sure its photo-sharing app is a safe space and not a toxic environment, says its public policy director. The company, which is based in California but has over 500 million users worldwide, has installed features like a report button and a filter for comments to address concerns that vulnerable young people - particularly girls - are being exposed to negative body images and bullying.
