How do you say Berlin?

Boston Calling

Available for over a year

There’s a town in Massachusetts called Berlin, and another in New Hampshire, but unless you’re from there, you’re probably saying it wrong. These American Berliners pronounce the name of their towns with the emphasis on the first syllable. And no-one seems to know why. (Image: The Androscoggin River running through Berlin, New Hampshire.
