The CEO of Box says President Trump’s temporary ban on immigration from seven Muslim majority countries is an “affront” to the “core values” of his organisation. Aaron Levie, who co-founded the online file storage tech company Box, told 5 live’s Colletta Smith he had employees who now “aren’t willing to leave the country” after the temporary ban was put in place, and it was “very rational” that the technology industry wanted to protest the ban. He went on to say it is in America’s business interests to insure companies have the “ability to bring in people from all around the world”. Arron made his comments after President Trump banned refugees from Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Iraq, Iran, Libya and Sudan from entering the US for the next 90 days.
