Just when you thought there couldn't be another next new thing in the world of food, street food poked it's head above the kitchen pass. Now, as is often the case this latest trend has been happening in London for a while, but it's now making it's way to Leicester. The thing that marks out street food from a good old fashioned dirty burger is that it's of a very high standard, often using locally sourced ingredients and served from or even in something funky and cool! Take Heidi the Van for example. Ben Jackson popped over to Thurmaston yesterday to meet Heidi and her sister Harriet and the two foodies that look after them.
