Premier League clubs scouting players as young as three years old is "comical", according to Dave Horrocks, the academy development officer of Fletcher Moss Rangers. Fletcher Moss Rangers have produced a number of youth players who have gone on to make it in the professional game including Wes Brown, Ravel Morrison, Tyler Blackett and Marcus Rashford. And Horrocks, who founded the club back in the 1990s, believes the age which players are first getting scouted now is "ridiculous". "They're looking at kids who are three and four years old. Seriously. They've only been walking for 18 months yet these scouts think they've got the new Yaya Toure," he told 麻豆社 Sport's Tom Forydce. "I don't see it getting any worse, but it will get ridiculous. Scouts will be stood around the delivery ward next asking to watch a newborn child play football."
