Breakfast on Â鶹Éç Radio SurreyAvailable for over a year
The brother of a cyclist killed by a texting driver on the A31 tells a road safety minister the government needs to do more to tackle the problem. Darrell Martin's brother Lee was cycling near Farnham in 2015 when he was hit by a van travelling at over 60mph. As penalties for using a phone at the wheel double from 1 March to six points and a £200 fine, Â鶹Éç Surrey arranged for Darrell to speak to road safety minister Andrew Jones.
