George Galloway, veteran left winger and Respect MP has announced he is writing a children's book about an ethical pirate. He is not the first politician to try his hand at children's books; Norman Tebbit, Barack Obama, Jimmy Carter and former Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd have also done it. How easy is it to make the transition from politician to children's author? Patrick Ness, author of A Monster Calls, has some advice. (Photo: David Cameron reads to a young girl. Credit: PA).
