5 Live In Short

Available for over a year

Former Liverpool star Kevin Keegan has recalled how legendary coach Ronnie Moran fixed his Ford Capri car to help cure his leg injury. Keegan was paying tribute to Moran, who passed away this week at the age of 83. Moran joined Liverpool in 1949 and won 44 trophies, as a player, coach and manager, working with the likes of Bill Shankly and Bob Paisley. Keegan, who played for Liverpool in the 1970’s hailed Moran as one of the greatest figures in Liverpool history, someone who would be a huge success in today’s modern era of football. From Sportsweek Sunday 26 March 2017.
