During the campaign, President Trump repeatedly promised to revive the drilling and mining industries, and to support unemployed miners. Republican Shaun McCutcheon from Birmingham, Alabama, is the CEO of Coalmont Electrical Development, a firm supplying the mining, utilities and power generation industries.
