Today in Parliament

Available for over a year

A descendant of Admiral Howe - who helped defend Gibraltar from the Spanish in the 18th century - is a Defence Minister, Lord Howe. The connection was raised by Admiral Lord West who said the current Lord Howe should have given Michael Howard some quiet advice about military intervention in Gibraltar, as Kristiina Cooper reports. You can hear more from Today in Parliament at the later time of 11.45pm on Radio 4.
