The past decade has seen a growth in the number of people in the UK adopting a vegan diet. Figures from the vegan society suggest there are more than half a million people in the UK who now reject any animal fats in their diets or indeed in their lives. For farmers this presents problems and potential opportunities. Charlotte Smith talks to Tom Kuehnel from the Vegan Society about going vegan and what the benefits are.
