Ghanaian midfielder Sulley Muntari is the latest international footballer to endure racist abuse on the pitch. Muntari, who plays for Italian Serie A team Pescara, asked the referee to stop the game at Cagliari when the abuse became too much. But he was instead given a yellow card for dissent. Muntari confronted Cagliari fans, shouting "this is my colour" before walking off the pitch. What needs to be done to rid football of racism? The Â鶹Éç’s Bola Mosuro speaks to Italian newspaper journalist Fillipo Ricci of Gazzetta Dello Sport, and Osasu Obayiuwana of the now-dissolved FIFA Task Force Against Racism and Discrimination.
