The Grenfell fire disaster has brought back memories of other fire tragedies in high rise blocks. In 2009 six people, including three children, died on the 10th and 11th floors of Lakanal House in the London borough of Southwark. Louise Christian is the solicitor who represented the families of the Lakanal House victims at the inquest into their deaths. She says there has to be an urgent review of building regulations regarding tower blocks, and on Grenfell Tower she says: "It's unbelievable that Kensington and Chelsea... one of the richest places... couldn't afford to install a sprinkler system in this very high tower block to protect the people in it".
