Shadow Brexit minister: Yes, we are reaching out to Conservatives. Jenny Chapman MP has confirmed that the Labour Party will be reaching out to Conservatives in an effort to get "knife-edge votes" over Brexit. Speaking to the Westminster Hour, the Shadow Brexit minister said "Yes, there’ll be pressure to be loyal to Theresa May, but there’ll also be pressure to do the right thing" and suggested that "backbench Tory MPs will feel the pressure from Whips, but they’ll also feel the pressure from their constituents."
