The Newsroom

Available for over a year

From handling 1,000 calls during its first week of operation, the service now takes up to 560,000 calls every 7 days. David Hay, Head of Heritage and Archives at British Telecom, told us why the 999 service was set up. (Photo: 999 exchange Credit: BT)
