Why we went public: two young Africans on living with HIV

Focus on Africa

Available for over a year

Going public with your HIV status can be a scary decision but 21 year old Kananelo from Lesotho and Tlotlo an 18 year old from Botswana took the risk and went public with their HIV status. And as the Â鶹Éç's Veronique Edwards has been hearing, they did it to promote an awareness campaign organised by Sentebale, a charity founded by Britain's Prince Harry and Lesotho's Prince Seeiso, to help vulnerable people across Southern Africa to know and manage their HIV status by 2020.
