Niger's 'husband school'

Focus on Africa

Available for over a year

Women in Niger have an average of more than seven children each - the highest birth rate in the world. In the latest of his special reports on the pros and cons of Africa's massive baby boom, Africa Correspondent Alastair Leithead travelled to Zinder in southern Niger where more than half of girls are married before they're 15, but where a 'husband school' is one of the ways they are trying to turn that around.
