Kenya's presidential election will be re-run on 17 October after the original result was annulled, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has announced. The Supreme Court found that the commission had not conducted the August vote in line with the constitution but Nairobi based lawyer Danstan Omari told Focus on Africa, that any overhauling of staff would have to follow a constitutional procedure.
