A mutual love of literature helped start a new chapter at work for Maria and Carmel. They only met 3 years ago but both studied English Literature at university in west London in the 1980s. So when Maria joined the council where Carmel has worked for more then 20 years, they discovered a kindred spirit in each other. Recorded in the Listening Project booth in Brigg.
