London Irish: Nick Kennedy wants better starts in games

Available for over a year

Exiles Director of Rugby Nick Kennedy feels Irish need to cut out mistakes early on in matches. London Irish lost their third league game in a row with a 25-40 defeat to Northampton Saints at the Madejski Stadium on Sunday. "The similarity would be our slow start," Kennedy told Â鶹Éç Radio Berkshire's Adam Williams. "We concede a lot of points early on which changes the dynamic of the game and gives us an awful lot to do. "On exactly where [the points] are coming from, that's been slightly different each week." But Kennedy said there were some positives to take out of the latest defeat. "I was pleased with how we came out after half-time. "I was pleased with some of our attacking spells...I think we looked dangerous at times."
