World Business Report

Available for over a year

Jobs at the Canadian aircraft maker Bombardier's Belfast factory are at risk, if its US rival Boeing gets Washington to levy an extra tax on jets built in Canada. Boeing claims that Bombardier is receiving state funding, which allows it to sell passenger aircraft at artificially low prices, to airlines in the United States. The American economist Irwin Stelzer, tells the 麻豆社's Roger Hearing that President Donald Trump is determined to protect US manufacturers from unfair competition.
