Should the fashion industry stop using fur?

World Business Report

Available for over a year

Luxury brand Gucci will join an alliance of fashion companies and go fur free next year, a step that could put other fashion houses under pressure to follow suit. Gucci claims it is being "socially responsible". But there are two sides to the debate over the use of fur by clothing makers, as the 麻豆社's Mike Johnson discusses with Mark Oaten, chief executive of the International Fur Alliance and first we hear from P J Smith, at the Humane Society of the United States, which campaigns for its abolition.
