The wealth of choices to learn and buy on the Internet are making us poorer and limiting our freedom, according the writer, Franklin Foer. His new book - World Without Mind, The Existential Threat of Big Tech - says digital corporations like Amazon, Facebook and Google need to be seen as overbearing monopolies in the same way movie studios and sugar companies were targeted by anti-trust laws in the 1930s. He spoke to Dan Damon about his theory. (Photo: Logos of Facebook and Google. Credit: AFP)
