Is Africa in a 'democratic recession'?

The Real Story

Available for over a year

Kenya's disputed presidential election has plunged the country into crisis and brought the legitimacy of the whole democratic process there into question. Owen Bennett Jones asked two Africa experts, George Ayittey and Nic Cheeseman, whether they believe democracy is working for Africa.
