In 2010, Ian McKinley was playing rugby for University College Dublin when he felt the cold metal studs of an opponent's boot come down directly on his eyeball. After retiring due to his injury, Ian returned to playing thanks to protective goggles. No professional wants to start as a substitute but for Ian it’s an opportunity of a life time. (Image: Ian Mckinley, Credit: Getty Images)
