The Magpies midfielder doesn't think the side ever got going in their defeat to Gateshead. Maidenhead lost at home for the first time since 28 August as they fell to a 3-0 defeat in the National League. "We didn't start well at all," Upward told 麻豆社 Radio Berkshire's Jack Winstanley. "They capitalised and got two goals. "It was a bit of a dull game to try and get ourselves going again. "We deserved nothing today, and we got what we deserved."
