Sierra Leonean Duval Timothy can turn his hand to almost anything

Focus on Africa

Available for over a year

Duval Timothy is an experimental artist whose work includes painting, photography, sculpture, design, food, film and textiles. He draws inspiration from his mixed Sierra Leone and English heritage and often divides his time between Freetown and London. The Â鶹Éç's Mayeni Jones went to meet the multi-talented Duval and found that even WhatsApp messages from his friends and family are incorporated into his work.
