What now for community after Sierra Leone mudslide

Focus on Africa

Available for over a year

One of the biggest stories this year was the terrible mudslide that happened just outside the Sierra Leone capital, Freetown. Amid a heavy downpour a huge chunk of Mount Sugar Loaf peeled away. The accompanying floods swept away scores of houses. Many people lost their lives and thousands were left homeless. So what is life like for the survivors? The Â鶹Éç's Umaru Fofana has been finding out. Credit: Olivia Acland
