Many companies are offering what's called 'paw-ternity' leave for pet-owners. Paw-ternity is time employees are allowed to take off work when they get a new dog. It started at US technology start-up businesses, but seems to be spreading. A brewery in Ohio has introduced the policy. It's the appropriately named Brew Dog USA.
