For a small minority of the world's two billion gamers, playing games on phones, consoles, and computers can come to take over their lives. The World Health Organization wants to equate gaming disorder with substance abuse disorders such as addiction to tobacco or alcohol but expert opinion remains divided and skeptics question the evidence on which to base a judgement. However, Jack Perry says that he abandoned a promising career as a footballer when he became 'addicted' - in his own words - to gaming. He has been speaking to the Â鶹Éç's Jonny Dymond.
