Labour MP Stephen Kinnock has told The Westminster Hour that it would be wrong for the House of Lords to make a "wrecking" amendment to the EU (Withdrawal) Bill. Wrecking amendments can prevent bills being given further readings in Parliament. Peers will scrutinise the bill for the first time on Tuesday when it has its second reading in the House of Lords. Mr Kinnock, who campaigned for Remain, said: "I think it's the right way to go for the Lords to make constructive amendments to the bill but I think wrecking isn't the right way to go."
