Eddie Amoo: A music pioneer remembered

Eddy Amoo, the founding member of 1970s soul band The Real Thing has died at the age of 73. They were the first all-black British band to have a UK number one single with "You to me are Everything" which topped the charts in 1976. They hail from Liverpool, and have been dubbed as the black Beatles. Film Maker Simon Sheridan made a documentary about the group, and describes his friendship with Eddie Amoo in this interview with Âé¶¹Éç presenter Ngunan Adamu
