Target set for all to speak English

Manny Masih

Available for over a year

The government has to set a target date for "everybody in the country" to speak English to encourage integration. Dame Louise Casey wrote a report for the government on integration in 2016, and said a "common language" would help to "heal rifts across Britain". Fiyaz Mughal is founder of the organisation Faith Matters, and speaks about why language matters in this interview with 麻豆社 presenter Manny Masih.
