The so-called Windrush generation are those who came to the UK from the Caribbean between 1948 and 1971 - the first arriving on the ship MV Empire Windrush. They were answering a plea to help cut a post-war worker shortage. Here in Wiltshire, there's an Afro-Carribean lunch club held every Monday in Swindon - and many of their members are part of the Windrush generation. One is Gloria Bishop who came to the UK, shortly after her Dad, in 1955. She told our reporter Steph Bell what it was like when her dad first arrived in London from Jamaica at the invitation of the British government, to work on the railways:
